The Vega Test Method

Electro-acupuncture is a non-invasive energetic evaluation using a galvometer. It was developed in Germany over the last 35 years by a number of physicians, dentists and scientists, and applies to biophysical techniques to Oriental acupuncture.

The skin resistance on the acupuncture point is measured by producing a slight potential difference (voltage) between a tip electrode held again the point and a large hand electrode held by the patient.

The procedure measures changes in skin resistance at the acupuncture point in response to placing test substances (foods or special test ampules) in circuit with the patient. The testing is painless, involving no needles, shocks, scratches, etc., and allows for specific information regarding the patient's health to be determined. The test results are used in conjunction with other clinical observations and tests performed by the doctor or clinical assistant.

Three testing procedures are used with the VEGA in Dr. Wagstaff's office. One is food sensitivities as a preliminary to detoxification, the second is environmental allergies, and the third is a dental screen.

Mora Therapy

Mora therapy uses no external voltages, currents or frequencies. It works with the micro electromagnetic information of the patient's own body. This information can be retrieved from specific body areas using hand held electrodes. It is modified by the Mora Therapy unit through filters and amplifying systems, then sent back to the body. Before being sent back to the body, pathological oscillations are inverted, causing their elimination from the body. To invert means to reverse, in other words to convert an oscillation electronically into its mirror image, which means into its own counter oscillation. The physiologic oscillation information are those oscillations that build up and stregthen the body. They are sent back to the patient's body unmodified, but amplified.
